Lotus Domino Administration Process is the heart of Lotus Domino administration. This session will explore the best ways to work with Lotus Domino Administration Process, with a special focus on improvements included in IBM Lotus Domino 8. We'll offer up guidelines on the tuning and use of existing and new features. Tips will be provided on how to eliminate possible undesirable delays in the processing of important requests, how to reduce disk space and I/0, and how to use administration request priority effectively. Finally, we'll reveal the roadmap for Administration Process and the investments we're planning for IBM Lotus Domino Next.

New SSO features are available for your use in IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 8, so both web and Lotus Notes client users can take advantage of improved security and additional user convenience. We'll discuss options to integrate better with other IBM products as well as with Windows, and we'll highlight SSO advancements for applications in IBM WebSphere Portal environments to improve efficiency. We'll also briefly discuss what's on the horizon, and outline our plans for further streamlining your directory architecture in an SSO environment.

Generated reports will explain the issues uncovered, reference related publications and recommend corrective action. This new tool is expected to be publically available outside of the Lotus Domino release cycle to any customer and will work against Lotus Domino 7 and beyond.
